    What's the hardest component on this board?

    The 0201 components — roughly 0.6mm × 0.3mm. A microscope and flux are essential for these.

    How do I know if I've passed the challenge?

    Connect USB-C power and press the button. All 10 LEDs lighting in sequence means every solder joint is good. Any dark LED points directly to the problem.

    I'm new to SMD — should I try this?

    No. Start with the Soldering Practice Kit first. Come back to this challenge once you're comfortable with 0603 components.
