The Power Meter Board is an advanced board intended for those that want a new challenge. Ideal for users that have experience working with micro-controllers.
This board can be used to measure the power any of your projects is drawing. Connect your power supply cables to the input connector, the circuit that wants to be supplied to the output cables and the USB in order to power the board.
With the power to withstand up to 24 volts at input and up to 5A going through it.
A soldering iron is the only equipment needed to assemble this board.
This kit includes all the needed components for its assembling, as well as a high quality circuit board (PCB). It also comes with the necessary documentation to develop, complete and understand the resolution of the board.
The worktop and materials supplied are correct and of good quality. One or two errors in the parts list or document were responded to very quickly and the new documents sent to me.
The fact that the power meter does not work (yet) is my fault. My SMD soldering skills, component size 0805, are probably too small for my eyes and for my age (60 years). But that's my problem, not the supplier's.
All in all, I'm sure I'll be looking at future kits from Mixed Signal Development.
